My skincare addiction is at it again! I first noticed Herbal Dynamics Beauty through my friend Lexus via Instagram, I immediately looked them up and found this line on their about page: “Bringing natural and effective personal care products to consumers seeking affordable options remains our guiding principle—we believe everyone should have access to healthy products that support positive well-being.”
As someone who has tried a handful of natural beauty products it was always the pricing that made me cringe… being conscious of ingredients is very pricey!! I loved that Herbal Dynamics focused on affordability and knew I had to give some of their stuff a try. I immediately reached out and they kindly sent me a few of their products to test out. I have been using these for a few weeks now and I’m really pleased, all good things to say for the most part!

This was the shocking, show stopper of the bunch. I don’t usually go for a body butter, I typically just use a basic Jergens or Aveeno body lotion. I especially wouldn’t think to buy this small of a jar, but oh my gosh I wish I could buy a bath tub full of this stuff. It smells so heavenly I could cry and I’m not being dramatic, it is such a soothing scent. I’m big on scents and I can literally smell this stuff on my robe and sheets an entire day later. It is also very hydrating, my skin has been extra dry lately and this stuff has been helping out. I’m addicted.
Awhile ago I started feeling like I was neglecting the skin on my neck. I usually put moisturizer on it but I felt like it needed a little something extra. I was most excited to try this out and wasn’t disappointed. It has a very thick and smooth texture to it and I’m noticing a clear difference in skin tone and overall glow. The skin on my neck just feels more firm and taken care of. Will definitely continue using this every night.
The price of this product SHOCKED me, a good serum can get seriously pricey. Hyaluronic acid is something that your body naturally produces but as we age we begin to produce less of it. Using a serum like this is great to incorporate in your routine in order to to boost hydration of the skin on a cellular level and help plump the skin to minimize fine lines. I’m really loving this serum, especially the price and the fact that it is so highly concentrated. I’ve been using it every night along with the Bobby Brown Intensive Skin Supplement.
First off… $16, are you kidding me? I had no idea what “micellar water” was before this, but now I’m seeing it pop up everywhere. Here is what I found out about it:
According to board-certified dermatologist Hadley King of Skinney Medspa, micellarwater is made up of micelles (tiny balls of cleansing oil molecules) suspended in soft water. “The idea is that micelles are attracted to dirt and oil, so they are able to draw out impurities without drying out the skin,” she says. Therefore, micellar water can be used as a facial wash, makeup remover and moisturizer all in one. – Huffington Post
I tried it out as a makeup remover and it does a great job removing makeup. However, I found I liked using it better as a second cleanser. I have always double cleansed, once to wash off makeup and then a second time to actually wash my face. So, I’ve been loving having this act as a sort of toner/second cleanser.
Seems like everyone is super into the rose water face toners these days, I had been using the Mario Badescu Facial Spray and enjoyed that. But, I actually enjoyed the Herbal Dynamics Beauty formula a lot better. My only thing with this was the spray bottle, I don’t know how to explain it besides that it sprays a bit too much at a time. I wish it sprayed more like a mist, I might just pour this formula into an empty Mario Badescu bottle lol
I’m looking forward to trying some of their other products! This brand is a great option for the natural beauty lover who doesn’t want to break the bank every time she needs new products. Let me know if you guys try any of these out, I would love to know your thoughts.
