I’ve always been good about taking care of my skin, washing off my makeup before I go to bed, using moisturizer – super basic stuff. Now that I’m 25 and super mature I started reading a bunch of stuff that freaked me out and said your face starts seriously aging in your mid-twenties. I realized I had to start getting a bit more serious about my skin if I want to maintain it. Hence, my recent obsession with serums. According to my very extensive google search (and by extensive I mean it was the first thing that popped up on google when I searched serum) serums are basically made up of smaller molecules that are able to deeply penetrate the skin, delivering a high concentration of active ingredients. This is why they are so great for targeting specific skin care concerns. I immediately ran out to find myself some serums, I’ve been using them for a few weeks now and LOVE them. Moisturizers and serums are essential to a good skin routine, so I wanted to share with you guys what I’ve been using lately.
This serum smells amazing! One of my main skin concerns is dullness, so I was searching for a serum that would brighten and wake up my skin in the morning. Truth Serum is an anti-aging serum formulated with vitamin C and collagen for brightening and hydration.
I wasn’t actually planning on buying this second serum, but it came in the Ole Henriksen – 3 Little Wonders pack for only $72 at Sephora. It seemed like too good of a deal to pass up so I thought I would give it a try. It is an antiaging serum that is loaded with a concentrated multi-source AHA complex—including glycolic and lactic acids—and microalgae. They call it a “retexturizing gel formula” and is designed to be used every night. I swear on my life I can actual feel my skin tighten, in a good way, after using it. I’m addicted.
Again, I wasn’t planning on buying this moisturizer but it came in the Ole Henriksen – 3 Little Wonders. I am a sucker for a deal, so I gave it a try and love it. I’ve been using it at night after the Transform Serum. My skin can get a bit oily over night, so I like that this moisturizer is oil-free. Plus, it is full of antioxidants
I’ve been using this moisturizer for years, I ventured out and tried others but I always find my way back to this little guy. I use it during the day, underneath my SPF.
This SPF was recommended to me by Calli at The Skin Loft in Scottsdale, AZ. It goes on sheer, so you avoid having your face look extra white from a typical sunscreen. It is great for under makeup, and it provides your skin with both UVA/UVB protection.
I’m OBSESSED with this tinted moisturizer. It is perfect for those no make up days when you don’t want to put in a ton of effort, but you also don’t enjoy looking like a zombie. I’ve also been using it like a foundation, with powder over it for a bit more coverage, on days when I do an every day makeup look.
Hope you enjoyed this post, I’m a big fan of skin care so it’s a topic I love sharing about! If there is anything specific you want to know about my skin care routine or about any of these products – always feel free to DM me on Instagram, comment on my Instagram, or comment on a Facebook post.
